  • i brought 2 12″ vmax d2 Cerwin-Vega Mobile VMAX 12″ Subwoofers and already have a lanzar opti2000D. my plans are to install it in a vented. … (common chamber) the amp gives out 1100rms@2ohms and 2000rms@.5ohms the question is , can these subs handle 2000rms between them? i think opti has rated 2000rms at 14.4volts. since my car electrical system isnt tht strong , so i suppose the amp will give about 1500rms at 12.4 volts? no? opinion….. enerlevel is offline …

  • I just found this subwoofer on ebay…and it actually looks like it could be pretty decent. http://cgi.ebay.com/Massive-12-Subwo…QQcmdZViewItem. … Car Audio Forum – CarAudio.com ….. the cerwin vega vmax also uses a 2.5″ voice coil. polk audio and infinity make subs with 2.5″ voice coils as well…I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. In order for it to handle 1600wrms, it would be a big deal. But since that’s definitely not RMS, you should be fine. …
